A local favorite, Chimney Rock State Park features hiking trails for all skill levels, and 75-mile panoramic views of Western North Carolina. The Sky Lounge patio is accessible to all—even those with mobility issues thanks to the elevator—and intrepid explorers can climb the 499 stairs up to the flag on Chimney Rock.

We'll have a bus available to shuttle folks from Kanuga to the park, but capacity will be limited. That means that if you're renting a car, you should plan to drive it over yourself—and better yet, offer up any spare seats to your fellow founders in our Ride Share Organizer. Folks that hop the bus will have the option of hitching a ride to downtown Asheville following the excursion.
